Great American Barbeque & Beer Festival Returns to Chandler

Great American Barbeque and Beer FestivalThe seventh annual Great American Barbeque & Beer Festival, returns to downtown Chandler on Saturday, March 19, 2016. Headlining this year’s entertainment will be Granger Smith, best known for his hit single, Backroad Song from his 4×4 EP. Supporting acts include the Ben Miller Band, Zack Deputy and Georgia Chrome.

Winner of Outstanding Event of the Year in 2012 and 2013 at the APS AzTEC Awards, the 2015 Great American Barbeque & Beer Festival will be bigger and better than ever with a newly expanded stage, more BBQ pitmasters and the newly added eating competition zone for finger lickin’ good times. 

With more than 60 pit masters from across the nation set to please the masses with their mouth-watering pork ribs, pulled pork, brisket and chicken, this year’s event will serve up a heaping helping of delicious grub. To wash down all that BBQ, enjoy over 200 kegs of craft beer from SanTan Brewing Company.

On Saturday, March 19, 2016, doors open at noon and close at 10 p.m. The festival will span the entire AJ Chandler Park East and West as well as connecting Arizona Ave., which will be closed from Buffalo St. to Boston St. in downtown Chandler.

Presale general admission tickets are available for $12 online at www.chandlerbbq.com and will be $15 at the gate day of. Food and beverages are sold separately. Children 12 years of age and younger are admitted for free. All valley Bashas’ locations will have discounted $10 admission ticket available beginning in mid-January.
