Hobb’s End Highball: A Recipe Inspired by In The Mouth of Madness

Inspired by John Carpenter's In The Mouth of Madness, The Geeks have created a cocktail perfect for any Sutter Cane fan, the Hobb's End Highball! 2geekswhoeat.com #Cocktails #HomeBartender #HorrorMovieRecipes #HalloweenIdeas #HalloweenParty #MovieNightThe fall season is almost upon us (despite our high Arizona temperatures)! This means we have even more of an excuse to create the horror movie-themed content we love. We have a ton planned for the next 2 months but let’s focus on today first. We’ve created a brand new recipe inspired by In The Mouth of Madness, The Hobb’s End Highball, in conjunction with our friends over at Scream Stream.

In the film In The Mouth of Madness, “when horror novelist Sutter Cane goes missing, insurance investigator John Trent scrutinizes the claim made by his publisher, Jackson Harglow, and endeavors to retrieve a yet-to-be-released manuscript and ascertain the writer’s whereabouts. Accompanied by the novelist’s editor, Linda Styles, and disturbed by nightmares from reading Cane’s other novels, Trent makes an eerie nighttime trek to a supernatural town in New Hampshire.”

For this recipe, we teamed up with Scream Stream. In this upcoming episode, they will be breaking down John Carpenter’s Apocalypse Trilogy (The Thing, Prince of Darkness, & In the Mouth of Madness) during their roundtable discussion with special guest Scott Curtis of AVEuroCult. Before they jump into that, they will feature this day in horror history and drop details on how to win an In The Mouth of Madness Sutter Cane Fan Club pin. You can join the fun here at 9:00 pm EST/8:00 pm CST/6:00 pm PST.

There is a scene in the film where John Trent is on a bus and the entire scene is shot in blue tones and everyone is wearing blue. It is one of the most iconic moments in the film, therefore we wanted to pay tribute to it with our recipe.

We hope you enjoy our Hobb’s End Highball! We have A TON of new horror and Halloween content coming in the next few months so stay tuned! As always, let us know in the comments below what movies you’d love to see recipes for! Also, if you create any of our recipes, make sure to tag us so we can share them on social media!
