Kai, Arizona’s only Forbes Five-Star and AAA Five-Diamond restaurant, is proud to present a match made in heaven: Cocktails and Dessert. Pastry Chef Audrey Enriquez and mixologist Liberty Quihuis have imagined an indulgent, five-course dessert and cocktail experience that celebrates their refined and innovative palates.
This three-part series entitled, “Ladies of Kai” has 2 remaining parts and will take place on Thursday, October 13th and Thursday, December 1st. The collaborative duo of Enriquez and Quihuis will offer entirely different menus at the events, each evening a unique occasion.
The Director of Food and Beverage at the Sheraton Grand at Wild Horse Pass, Vipin Menon, is honored to have Enriquez and Quihuis at Kai. “These two women thrive in this competitive industry and always aim to innovate in their respective specialties.” Menon explains, “The ‘Ladies of Kai’ series is an opportunity to showcase the talent of Kai’s female artisans and offer an event unlike any other in the Valley.”
Menu highlights from the first “Ladies of Kai” included; 60-day corn tres leches cake crafted with Ramona Farms 60 day corn pinole, corn horchata, pickled strawberries and candied pepitas paired alongside a hibiscus infused vanilla vodka cocktail with Chambord, Luxardo cherry, charred orange, and egg white. A sophisticated chocolate and peanut butter course with Manjari mole custard, peanut butter and foie gras mousse, toasted sesame ice cream, finger lime caviar and smoked peanut praline will pair together with Disaronno, Dutch chocolate vodka, red peppercorn, cardamom, molasses, lime and a salted caramel rim.
