Even the biggest, best-attended and most beloved events must reinvent themselves now again to stay fresh and maintain mass appeal, and the Arizona Strong Beer Festival is no exception. That’s why this year’s 17th installment is brewing up some new hoppy happenings for attendees to enjoy in addition to the state and region’s most-ground-breaking beers, and it’s all going down Saturday, Feb. 11, 2017, at Steele Indian School Park in Phoenix.
The Arizona Strong Beer Festival brings an abundance of specialty brews, high ABV varieties, and other one-of-a-kind craft beers to the desert every February, and this year’s event will feature more of all of the above than ever before. Think new and innovative brewing techniques, barrel-aged beer varieties and collaborative offerings from favorite local, regional and national brewers, and guests can mix and mingle among the booths while enjoying it all and bounce questions off the brewers while sampling.
New this year are a variety of different zones designed for game play. Also new are special relaxation areas where guests can kick back and sip slowly on some of those especially strong brews and a Super VIP area complete with its own Brewers Reception, among other offerings.
The Arizona Strong Beer Festival is among the main events of Arizona Beer Week, a nine-day celebration of the state’s signature suds slated for Feb. 9 – 18, 2017. The Arizona Strong Beer Festival sells out every year and VIP and Super VIP passes are already SOLD OUT, so to purchase General Admission or Designated Driver passes, visit ArizonaBeerWeek.com.
