Marigold Maison Announces Expansion Plans and New Menus

marigold-maison-malai-kofta-dumplingsMarigold Maison Paradise Valley (4720 E Cactus Rd.), serving authentic Indian cuisine, is expanding its location this month and adding 64 seats in the dining room, a 24-person private dining room, and a full service bar.

Previously only serving beer and wine, Marigold Maison will debut a cocktail program as well as an indoor and outdoor bar space for guests to casually dine and pair beverages with Indian dishes. Guests can now enjoy 22 wines by the glass ($8-13); eight reserve caliber wines available by the bottle ($48-65); four classic, specialty cocktails ($10); and local and regional craft and Indian beers ($4-9). The Indian restaurant also plans to launch a small bites menu and happy hour later this year.

With Marigold Maison’s expansion, Executive Chef Sunil Kumar will also introduce new menu items.

“We are excited to share an updated menu that is influenced by our loyal customer base as well as my yearly travels to India,” says Kumar. “Each year I visit different parts of India to understand their food culture and come up with my interpretation of those flavors, so the new menu reflects these travels.”

Guests can expect more Indian-inspired appetizers and tandoori dishes, such as Lachha Paratha whole wheat bread with masala; and Tandoori Prawns coated with mint, cilantro, and citrus. Guests can also customize any entrée to be vegetarian, which is clearly denoted on the menu, and there are more vegetarian entrees on the menu, such as Malai Kofta Dumplings ($18) made with paneer, potato, cauliflower, ajwain and creamy sauce; and Shahi Paneer ($18) with fenugreek in a creamy cashew sauce.

Marigold Maison will close for renovations from September 13-20, and reopen for regular business hours on September 21.
