Happy Valentine’s week! One of our movie loves is Blumhouse movies! They are typically a lot of fun and sometimes even a bit scary! We thought it would be fun to create a shareable cocktail and host a giveaway inspired by their latest release, Blumhouse’s Fantasy Island!
“In Blumhouse’s Fantasy Island, the enigmatic Mr. Roarke makes the secret dreams of his lucky guests come true at a luxurious but remote tropical resort. But when the fantasies turn into nightmares, the guests have to solve the island’s mystery in order to escape with their lives.”
As we mentioned earlier, we thought for this recipe it would be fun to create a shareable cocktail. There is no better way to do this than making a scorpion bowl. For those of you unfamiliar, a scorpion bowl is a large tiki cocktail that is meant to be shared by 2-4 people. They are a ton of fun and easy to make. Given the movie’s tropical nature, we thought it would be a great way to showcase rum and other tropical flavors!
Now that you’ve gotten through all of that, here is the fun part! In celebration of Valentine’s Day and the film’s release, we are giving away 2 pairs of AMC Run of Engagement tickets to see Blumhouse’s Fantasy Island! We will be selecting the winners this Friday, February 14th. This contest is only open to people in the Phoenix. Tickets will be valid beginning Tuesday, February 18th through the film’s run in theaters excluding holidays. Good luck!
