Disney has a ton of releases this summer between theatrical and home releases! One of the most eagerly anticipated of those releases is Toy Story 4. Just when you thought Toy Story 3 wrapped up the story, they had one more tale to tell. We are so excited to see what they have in store for us that we put together a new (to our site anyway) recipe for Duke Caboom’s Canadian Style Poutine! Not only that, but we have a great giveaway as well!
In Toy Story 4, “Woody (voice of Tom Hanks) has always been confident about his place in the world, and that his priority is taking care of his kid, whether that’s Andy or Bonnie. So when Bonnie’s beloved new craft-project-turned-toy, Forky (voice of Tony Hale), declares himself as “trash” and not a toy, Woody takes it upon himself to show Forky why he should embrace being a toy. But when Bonnie takes the whole gang on her family’s road trip excursion, Woody ends up on an unexpected detour that includes a reunion with his long-lost friend Bo Peep (voice of Annie Potts). After years of being on her own, Bo’s adventurous spirit and life on the road belie her delicate porcelain exterior. As Woody and Bo realize they’re worlds apart when it comes to life as a toy, they soon come to find that’s the least of their worries.”
Our recipe for Duke Caboom’s Canadian Style Poutine was inspired by non other than Duke Caboom himself. We wanted to feature a dish that was itself Canadian. Poutine was the perfect choice. If you have never tried it, it is delicious and so easy to make. Give it a try!
Now that you have a sumptuous savory snack recipe, here is your opportunity to see the movie that inspired it! We are giving away 5 Family 4-Packs of VIP Advanced Screening Passes to an advanced showing of Toy Story 4! The showing will be held at Harkins Tempe Marketplace on Tuesday, June 18th. The screening starts at 7 pm and the winners should arrive at 6:15 in order to guarantee their seating. Winners will be selected on Monday, June 17th. Good luck!
