Who doesn’t love a Girls Night In? It’s always a fun-filled evening with your favorite gals, a movie, and hopefully a good cocktail. Don’t have a good cocktail recipe? Well, you’re in luck! We’ve created a new cocktail, The Leading Lady, inspired by What Men Want. Not only that, but we are giving away VIP Advanced Screening Passes to see the film before it releases!
In What Men Want, “Ali Davis (Taraji P. Henson) is a successful sports agent who’s constantly boxed out by her male colleagues. When Ali is passed up for a well-deserved promotion, she questions what else she needs to do to succeed in a man’s world… until she gains the ability to hear men’s thoughts! With her newfound power, Ali looks to outsmart her colleagues as she races to sign the next basketball superstar, but the lengths she has to go to will put her relationship with her best friends and a potential new love interest (Aldis Hodge) to the test.”
The inspiration for The Leading Lady came to us from a few places. First of all, Ciroc is a national brand partner of the film so we wanted to include one of their many flavors. Next, we wanted to create a cocktail that had great flavors but would appeal to different palates. The Leading Lady does just that!
Now that you have a cocktail perfect for a Girls Night In, here is the fun part! We are giving away 6 pairs of VIP Advanced Screening Passes to an advanced showing of What Men Want! The showing will be held at Harkins Tempe Marketplace on Monday, February 4th. The screening starts at 7 pm and the winners should arrive at 6:15 in order to guarantee their seating. Need a delicious cocktail for a Girls Night In? The Geeks have created a fun and fruity cocktail inspired by What Men Want and it's the perfect fit!
Ingredients
- 2 oz Ciroc Red Berry
- 1 oz Triple Sec
- 3/4 oz Lemon Juice
- 1 dash Cranberry Bitters
- 1 dash Peychauds Bitters
- Luxardo Cherry for garnish
Instructions
- Combine all ingredients in a cocktail shaker.
- Add ice.
- Shake.
- Serve up and garnish with a Luxardo cherry.
