We are only a few days away from the release of the new Shudder series Creepshow! We are so excited that we couldn’t help but create another recipe. This time, however, our recipe is inspired by the series, not the movie. So read on and grab our recipe for Bangor Beer Dogs!
“George A. Romero and Stephen King’s iconic ‘80s horror anthology returns as an all-new Shudder Original series from executive producer Greg Nicotero (The Walking Dead). Creepshow features stories from horror luminaries like Stephen King, Joe Hill, Josh Malerman, Joe Lansdale and others, with segments directed by Nicotero, Tom Savini, Roxanne Benjamin, David Bruckner, John Harrison and Rob Schrab, and a cast that includes Adrienne Barbeau, Giancarlo Esposito and Tobin Bell.”
The inspiration for our Bangor Beer Dogs comes from one of the shorts in the new Creepshow series, Gray Matter. Without giving away to much of the plot, a “bad” can of beer, implied to carry a mutagen causes a man to slowly transform into an inhuman blob-like abomination that detests light and craves warm beer. We took this and decided to combine beer with a common convenient store food, hot dogs. The result is a delicious, easy, and mutagen free main dish that is perfect for a party!
We hope you love this recipe for Bangor Beer Dogs! Be sure to check out Creepshow on Shudder starting this Thursday, September 26th! Also, we really want your feedback on which recipes to tackle this month. So let us know in the comments below which horror movies we should do recipes for this Halloween!

Can you do a Hereditary recipe? Unless I missed you doing that one already? I’d also love to your take on something from The Lost Boys or American Werewolf in London.
We did do a Hereditary recipe actually! Also, The Lost Boys and American Werewolf in London will be in the cookbook!
