Two of our favorite types of movies are horror and superhero flicks. Can you imagine our excitement when we heard there was going to be a movie featuring both? Brightburn combines those genres creating its own! We are so excited that we’ve found a fun way to make breakfast horrific, Brightburnt Toast! Not only that but we are giving aways some pretty sick prize packs!

The inspiration for our Brightburnt Toast is largely visual. We wanted to create something that burned the symbol into the food. Toast was the natural choice. To tie into the color palette of the film we used strawberry jelly. However, any red jam or jelly will work.

Stoked for the horror superhero film Brightburn, The Geeks have put together a DIY guide to creating a design in your toast!
Ingredients
- Bread
- Red Jelly or Jam of your choice
- Butane Torch with Soldering Tip (We have a Dremel 2200-01 Versa Flame Multi Function Butane Torch)
Instructions
- Toast the bread.
- Using the soldering tip on your butane torch, draw the Brightburn symbol. (A large sideways diamond over a smaller diamond with a line down the middle).
- Spread a thin layer of your favorite red jelly or jam.
- Serve.
