Wild Bergamot & Red Clover Tea: A Recipe Inspired by The Menu

The Geeks have recreated the Palate Cleansing Tea from The Menu. This tea is a blend of Wild Bergamot and Red Clover. 2geekswhoeat.com #TheMenuFilm #GeekyRecipes #TeaIdeas #Tea #HorrorRecipes #TeaPartyWe promised another recipe inspired by The Menu and we are here to deliver! After creating our version of Memory we knew we couldn’t just create one recipe. We wanted to come up with something that would be easy to recreate at home and thought that the Palate Cleanser tea would be absolutely perfect. This was our first attempt at a tea blend and we are happy with how it turned out!

In The Menu, “A couple (Anya Taylor-Joy and Nicholas Hoult) travels to a coastal island to eat at an exclusive restaurant where the chef (Ralph Fiennes) has prepared a lavish menu, with some shocking surprises.”

The Geeks have recreated the Palate Cleansing Tea from The Menu. This tea is a blend of Wild Bergamot and Red Clover. 2geekswhoeat.com #TheMenuFilm #GeekyRecipes #TeaIdeas #Tea #HorrorRecipes #TeaPartyWe loved the look of this tea and wanted to recreate it for a few reasons. First, we’d never had this combination of tea. Second, it looked gorgeous! So let’s quickly talk about the elephant in the room. The tea is styled with marigolds. We recreated this in our photos but you absolutely don’t have to (nor do we recommend) add marigolds. Marigolds are edible but don’t need to be added at home. Instead, just focus on the palette-cleansing properties of the tea itself. Since bergamot is used in Earl Grey tea, the flavor put out by this blend is similar but a little more vegetal. It is a delicious palette cleaner for sure.
