Sadly at the end of this month, our Disneyland Annual Passes are expiring. We won’t be renewing them until probably next fall. So we thought it would be fun to create recipes for some of our favorites in the Park. The first recipe we decided on is one of our favorite snacks in Disney California Adventure, more specifically Cars Land. That’s right, as you can see by the title of this post, we have a great recipe for Cozy Cone Buffalo Ranch Popcorn!
In Cars Land, The Cozy Cone is the place to go for delicious snacks! Among the offerings are Churros, Soft Serve, Snack Cones (like Mac and Cheese in a pretzel cone), Pretzels, and Popcorn. While we really enjoy all of the snacks The Cozy Cone has to offer, the popcorn really is our favorite. They offer the following flavors Butter, Dill Pickle, Buffalo Ranch, White Cheddar, Sriracha, Pizza, and Garlic Parmesan. Since Buffalo Ranch is our go-to, that is the one we chose to recreate.
This recipe is so easy that it literally only has 3 ingredients. We were able to find all 3 in our local grocery store. The seasonings might be harder to locate in the store. We found the buffalo seasoning in the spice aisle near the grilling blends. The ranch seasoning is usually in the salad dressing aisle near the other powdered salad dressing mixes. Another perk to this recipe is that it makes plenty of seasoning that can be used on other things!
We hope you enjoy our recipe for Cozy Cone Buffalo Ranch Popcorn! We are hoping to be able to create a new Disney Parks copycat recipe at least once a month! Missing the treats of Cars Land, The Geeks have come up with a copycat recipe for Cozy Cone Buffalo Ranch Popcorn! It will transport you to Cars Land!
Ingredients
- 1 bag Microwave Popcorn (We used Pop Secret Movie Theater Butter, this helps the seasoning stick)
- 1/2 cup Franks Red Hot Powder Seasoning
- 2 tbsp Hidden Valley Original Ranch Salad Dressing and Seasoning Mix
Instructions
- Combine both seasoning mixes in a small resealable containers.
- Pop popcorn per package instructions.
- While still hot, sprinkle popcorn with about 2 teaspoons of seasoning (you will have extra for another batch or 2, a little goes a long way).
- Toss popcorn to coat with seasoning.
- Enjoy!
Notes
This recipe makes enough seasoning for a few batches and can easily be doubled or tripled for a crowd. Just make more popcorn!
